Gregory Ramirez brings 25+ years of experience as an Equity Analyst in covering listed European Software, IT Services and Engineering/R&D Services stocks, from very large to small caps. He has acquired over the years a thorough knowledge of the strategy, competitive environment, industry catalysts, valuation and financial analysis of these companies.
Before joining the company, he had been working for Bryan, Garnier & Co for 17 years, of which most recently as Director, Software & IT Services of BG IRIS, Bryan Garnier’s Equity Research brand. On top of his public equity coverage, he oversaw and produced numerous industry white papers, and was in charge of identifying the most interesting private companies in the sector. Finally, over time he has cultivated a long-standing relationship with European and North American institutional investors as well as European IT corporate executives.
Before Bryan, Garnier & Co, Gregory had worked for 9 years as an Equity Analyst at ING, Arkeon Finance, Oddo & Cie, and Natexis Capital, primarily on Technology Small Cap companies.
He has been ranked many times as “Top Earnings Estimator” and “Top Stock Picker” for French or European IT stocks by Starmine. These honors sanction his integrity and rigorousness in financial modelling and forecasting as well as in valuation.
Gregory is French. He holds a Master’s Degree (DEA) in Banking and Finance and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the Aix-Marseille University, where he defended in 1997 a thesis on the valuation of candidate companies to the former Paris Stock Exchange’s “Nouveau Marché” segment. He has been a member of the French Financial Analysts Society (SFAF) since 2005.
